This vinyasa-based class we will explore more active poses which we might strive for, in balance to more restorative or yin postures that allow us to release and let be. While we practice, we will follow the myth of Shiva and Shakti (as Parvati) and how they fall in love again after eons of separation.. This myth brings up and challenges gender roles and equality, as well as issues of class and ethnicity and is ultimately a story of love for one's own Self. Live Music by Owen Home.
