Ellen Einhorn, Puna, Hawaii

Ellen was born and raised in Germany, and after travelling for three years in South East Asia, she visited Hawaii and fell in love with it. The Big Island has been her home ever since.

Ellen’s journey with teaching began in 2005 when she was living in San Francisco. She was going to the gym on a daily basis, exploring each and every one of their courses, and she fell in love with fitness. She became a certified instructor herself and when yoga sparked her interest a few years later, she enrolled in an intensive Yoga Teacher training with Darren Main. She completed a Pilates Workshop and a Group Fitness Course in 2007, and a yoga teacher training with Baptiste Power Yoga in 2009. Her ever-growing love of yoga led her to enroll in a 500-hour yoga teacher training with Cloud Nine Yoga in Los Angeles.

Most of all, Ellen loves moving and breathing, toning, strengthening and stretching. She is interested in all kinds of movement from juggling to fire dancing, yoga, Pilates, swimming, bicycling, and. . . you name it. She finds pleasure in learning and seeks inspiration in other teachers, classes, media, and her students. She feels really blessed to be doing she loves: teaching.
